Volunteering

Who can help?

Anyone who has some time to spare. It can be as much or as little as you want, as frequent or as infrequent as suits your particular timetable – just let us know when you are available.

Drivers – people with a car, willing to give their time and provide transport to needy neighbours for trips within the locality; average journeys are less than 15 miles and costs are reclaimable at 45p per mile.

Coordinators – people willing to join a rota of volunteers, working from their own homes, helping administer by telephone the daily activities of Four Marks Care.

Help with answering telephone requests from clients and allocating requests for drivers to undertake journeys.

There are all sorts of good neighbourly tasks – just specify what you are able and willing to do!

Four Marks Care is one of over 100 voluntary organisations across Hampshire dedicated to the provision of help to people in their locality. We operate within strict guidelines provided by Hampshire’s Good Neighbours Network (GNN) and the legislation in place to protect vulnerable people.
