A group of villagers committing time and enthusiasm to supporting other villagers. Set up 50 years ago to help those people young and not so young who would appreciate a little neighbourly assistance.
What do we do?
We are a team of volunteers who receive requests by telephone and undertake to match these with offers of help from our qualified drivers.
We provide transport for people unable to drive themselves and who may need a lift to attend non-emergency appointments with their doctor, dentist, hospital etc.
With the support of our team of volunteers we hope that we help people to remain independent in their own homes.
